Motivation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have been on everyone’s lips for several years now. However, these technologies have already proven themselves in numerous projects, and even more success stories will follow. To be able to distinguish hype from potential, I consider it essential that decision-makers understand the fundamental principles of how AI/ML works.

Most AI training courses either focus heavily on complex mathematical proofs, or they treat AI as a complex black box and avoid explaining the underlying algorithms. Neither approach is very useful when one wants to learn AI fundamentals. My courses therefore focus on basic concepts and terminology and enable participants to learn the functionality, applications, advantages, challenges, and risks of AI.

The most valuable thing I receive from my participants is their time, and I want to make the best use of it: Accordingly, it is important to me to design all my offerings as compact intensive courses that I limit to the essential aspects. To enable personal contact and the discussion of participants' questions, the number of participants per course is strictly limited.
