I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano with a broad interest in topics related to Machine Learning and Software Engineering. My recently defended PhD thesis investigated the early detection and avoidance of errors caused by Artificial Neural Networks.

After completing my degree in Business Informatics as the top of my class at the University of Zurich, I worked as a software engineer and later as a senior software engineer in the banking sector in Zurich. As a technical project lead, it often came down to presenting technical matters in comprehensible and concise way; a skill that is now also important in my courses.

At the University of Zurich and the Università della Svizzera italiana, I was responsible as a teaching assistant for a number of lectures in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering, as well as for the supervision of students in projects and final theses.
